A great way to safely clean your computer screen is with a microfiber cloth – which is made of a soft
fabric that will not produce lint. This will help ensure that you don’t scratch your screen or produce
debris that is left behind. You want to avoid washcloths, paper towels and toilet paper. Here is another

online through Amazon – are an easy, effective, safe way to keep your computer screen clean. Never use
window cleaner.
To clean your computer screen, gently wipe your screen in a circular motion. You should never press to
harshly, so you may need to pass over the screen a few times to remove stubborn finger prints.
Ok, so on to the keyboard. Never use a spray cleaner directly on a keyboard. It is a good idea to detach
your keyboard during the cleaning process. Then, just use a dust-free cloth or Q-tip to gently rub
isopropyl alcohol on the tops of the keys. It is important not to drip any liquid inside the keyboard, so
don’t use too much alcohol. Finally, use a can of compressed air – which you can purchase as any office
supply store – to blow out any dust or other foreign matter.
For a more thorough cleaning, you can remove and scrub each key with the toothbrush. Make sure you
have some time, because you cannot replace the keys until they are totally dry. If you do happen to
accidently get some moisture inside the keyboard, dry it as much as possible with a cloth and leave it
upside down to air dry overnight.
