There is always something fun to do in and around New Smyrna Beach and our summer months are no exception! Here’s just a taste of what you have to look forward to this summer…

June kicks things off on Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach with the 34th Annual Seaside Fiesta, full of carnival games, street food and live performances by talented musicians.

Of course, who could be without an Independence Day celebration, soooo…we give you the Flagler Avenue Red, White and Blue Music Fest, lasting four days in the beginning of July and including an ice cream social to make things even more cool! 

Port Orange also provides us with a holiday event this July, but it may not be what you are expecting. It’s Christmas in July at the Lakeside Community Center with over 50 crafters, vendors and local businesses participating so that you can get your early shopping on! There will also be face painting, food trucks and lots more fun for the whole family!

August is host to the New Smyrna Beach Shrimp and Seafood Fest, where restaurants compete for “Best on the Beach” while you can try sample sized servings of award-winning local cuisine.

Or attend the Volusia Back to School Bash at the Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach, where you can learn about school resources and programs and enjoy fun kid stuff including a photo booth, arts and crafts, a reptile zoo and a magic show.
